Yes, it’s back the wonderful Sustainable Living Festival is on again, and we’ll be at Prince’s Wharf No. 1 on the 9th and 10th of November.

So that means we’ll be having the once a year Hobart Bike Kitchen bikes auction where you get the chance to purchase a quality bike for a great price.

It’s not a win-win, it’s a win-win-win as you get a great bike, the world is a better place with one more happy, healthy, low-emmission bike rider and Hobart Bike Kitchen raises the money which keeps us open throughout the year.

This year you’re going to get two chances to grab an auction bike as we’ll be having a short sharp auction session both days.

The auction has been scheduled for 12.15 on Sat the 9th and 11.45 on Sun the 10th. Both on the forecourt festival stage.

To help you out if you can’t be sure of being on site at the right time we’re happy to take your bids beforehand. You can email us or come by the HBK marquee on the Saturday or Sunday and have a good look at the bikes and leave your bid with us then.

  1. Hi HBK,
Devo’d I missed the auction this weekend, have been up the coast. I’ve been hunting a roadie but its proving hard to find a small size one second hand..
I’d be keen to come hang out on a weekend session if there’s anything suitable?
Also got a small Huffy mtb to give away if you want? Goes ok, just needs a service.

    1. We’ll look forward to seeing you.
Bound to be something of interest, come and have a browse through the bike hanging rack.
Just check the upcoming events on the LHS and see when out next Sunday Session is.
